- - - - overall personality,
cerise, to put it simply, is a lot of things. she can be the typical bitchy teenager, and she can be the calm girl who sits in the corner, reading some lame romance novel. she's complex. all her thoughts that flit rapidly in her head never focus on one thing. so i guess you can say she's very spontaneous..or reckless. cerise has been known to say things that have sounded either outright bitchy or stupid. she never really thinks twice before she opens her mouth and blurts out something, which is a terrible flaw. other than her terrible crude mouth, she's generally a reserved person; quiet. shy, even.
unlike most teenage girls, she doesn't believe in all that love shit. never before has cerise been in love, nor does she want to. in fact, she dreads it. what is love, other than having to follow a boy around, hang on to his every word and then inevitably end up getting kicked to the curb? in cerise's little world she created specifically for herself in her mind, love is the enemy. love is that one thing that destroys people, that leads the mindless teenagers to do outrageous things. and alcohol, of course, which leads me to my next subject. cerise is an alcoholic, and she no longer tries to deny it. alcohol is her peacekeeper - it calms her, and it also heightens her ability to be incredibly reckless. and, like every other teenager, cerise often appears at the huge parties. not to socialize with some of the good-looking boys, but rather to drink. so i can it's also safe to say that cerise is a bit of an anti-social, especially when it comes to st augustine girls. clones, she says, that's all they are. clones.
there's no excuse for her frequent rebellious nature. there's no boy she can place the blame on, no strict family problems or no tragic death of someone she loved dearly. no, none of those bottomless excuses the drastic teenagers make nowadays. cerise just..goes with whatever floats her boat. one day, she'll have the urge to go to school, and she'll oblige. or, maybe, one day she'll feel the need to just lay bed and skip the pointless hours of school and she will.
when it comes to people, cerise is normally able to tolerate them. but if they're spineless and shallow, she won't even bother greeting them. why waste her time, after all? cerise has a very negative outlook on the world. she doesn't believe in true happiness and she'll gladly argue her point of perception. for what is happiness when, every minute, you want something more that you can't have? whether it's some expensive handbag or the adorable boy across the street, you can't have it and so therefore you're never truly at peace. and, as explained before, she doesn't believe in true love, either. nor does she believe in peace. the world simply wasn't designed to home millions upon millions of humans and animals at peace. everything is simply made to be broken, she would often say nonchalantly. which is exactly what she is. she's..nonchalant, and she doesn't give a shit what happens to anybody. the world could crumble and she wouldn't care. so, if you ever wanted to start some conversation with her, it'd be greatly appreciated if you had something interesting to say other than 'hey' or 'what's up?'.

- - - - family,
alyssa rose robinson - deceased
benjamin james robinson - 51 - computer technician.
- - - - pets, valiant, her black tom cat.
- - - - overall history,
cerise was born in the little village portrayed in many old movies. augusta was..amazing, in her opinion. it was quaint, and that was just the way she liked it. but i'm getting ahead of myself. let's start from the beginning, shall we? cerise was born on october 30 to alyssa and benjamin robinson. she had no siblings, nor would she for her mother died giving birth to her. so cerise never really knew her mother but it also made her more independent. cerise and her father were very close, like two peas in a pod. he had been the one to teach her how to walk, talk and how to do her business in the toilet. benjamin robinson was a very stubborn person so he refused any help from anybody, even his own family. he was determined to raise his little daughter by himself, and he succeeded in that. eventually he was blessed with a five year old, kicking and shoving little boys who bullied the nerd of the class. cerise was tough, and she took shit from nobody. growing up without a mother to talk about boys to and go shopping with is normally seen as a bad thing, something..pitiful. but, to cerise, it taught her many things. for one, it taught her that the world does not revolve around pieces of clothing and boys. she was taught not to obsess over boys and she rather liked it that way. it also taught her to appreciate the little things in life.
by the time cerise reached ninth grade, she had taken a peculiar fascination in marvel movies and comic books. whereas most girls would be shopping and giggling about their boyfriends in hushed tones, cerise would rather watch the latest spiderman movie, munching on fattening popcorn. and even though her father never really said he was proud of her, she knew he was. it was clear by the way his eyes tracked her with awe, the way his mouth curled into a delicate smile every time she babbled about her little comic books, and by the way he kissed her on the forehead gently every night before she went to sleep. his care for her was portrayed in the way he panicked every time her school nurse called, saying that she had been in some mishap. his love for her was obvious by the way he said 'i love you' before she leaped out of his car to enter her school every morning with utter sincerity. ever since he lost alyssa, benjamin was happy. he was at peace, and he would always be as long as he had his little princess by his side. cerise was his world and he would never let her forget.
of course, in every family known to the world, there were..problems. cerise was fifteen when her dad decided on impulse to move out of augusta to castor, canada. and, since her love for augusta was immense, cerise was..displeased. but there was nothing she could do, for her father had said it would be for the best. besides, one day she would be able to visit the little town of augusta. whether it would be in her dreams or during reality, she would visit, unseen as always. benjamin had managed to rent a little house for he and his daughter and immediately registered her to the nearest school. st. augustine - the place of cerise's future nightmares. as soon as cerise entered the horrific high school, she knew automatically that she would come to regret her father's impulsive decision to move. st. augustine was everything her old school had not been. it was wealthy and filled with overpriced handbags and bitchy sneers. it was the very place that belonged in her nightmares.
somehow she managed to survive sophomore and junior year, landing her in the present grade level. a senior. for most kids, it was..a blessing to the ear to hear the fact that they were seniors, kids of 2010. seniors, the top dogs. seniors, the kids who were so outrageously lucky because this would be the last year at school. but, in cerise's little world, it was very much different. her world was tilted on a different axis, at a different angle for, to her, being a senior was nothing special. but, however, being a senior offered her many benefits. for one thing, the parties were always kick-ass, and they always served free beverages (translation: free alcohol!). cerise's little problem with alcohol first began in junior year when she stumbled across these kids who smoked and drank in their spare time. and, with her strange charming personality, she had managed to befriend them. before long, she was smoking and drinking along with them, blending into the shadows of unoriginality. of course, cerise being cerise, she didn't hold out with them for long. eventually she drifted away from that circle and ditched the habit of constant smoking.
and, during her whole time residing at st augustines in the house that looked puny standing next to some of the mansions in the area, cerise never dropped her awe with comic books or her relationship with her father. deep down, she desperately wanted to attend some fancy college and prove herself worthy. she wanted to make her absent mother proud. but, more than that, she wanted to see the glow of admiration in her father's eyes again, for it had dimmed out upon the arrival at castor. she no longer wanted to be acknowlegded as the girl sitting in the corner of the room, reading lame comic books and romance novels. she didn't want to be acknowledged as the girl without the mother or the girl without any romantic abilities. she wanted everyone to know her as cerise robinson, the girl who could do anything. the girl who could change the world as long as she had her comic books and her father. her father, the guy who never strayed from her side. her father, the best thing in her world.
